Đây đều là những lỗi sai cơ bản trong phong thủy nhà ở mà hầu như nhà nào cũng mắc.
Dù hình thế khu đất khá vuông vức nhưng do không được tư vấn kỹ nhiều ngôi nhà xây vẫn bị lệch tâm. Điều này có thể gây nhiều phiền hà cho cuộc sống gia đình nên cần phải có sự khắc phục trong thời gian sớm nhất.
Hai bên nhà là vị trí Bạch Hổ và Thanh Long, nếu ngôi nhà đặt ở vị trí lệch về phía bên phải (từ trong nhìn ra ngoài) là phạm vào vị trí Bạch Hổ.
Để khắc phục khuyết điểm này gia đình cần bố trí đèn đêm cho khu vườn phía bên trái làm cân bằng âm dương, ánh sáng đèn sẽ khắc chế phía đối diện, đồng thời làm giảm đi sung lực.
Khi vị trí nhà lệch sang trái, tức hướng của Thanh Long. Cách khắc phục tương tự như trên, chỉ có điều vị trí đặt đèn sẽ là ở bên phải để cân bằng.
2. Sân trước rộng
Sân là một khoảng diện tích, vừa để thông thoáng vừa để tăng giá trị thẩm mỹ cũng như nâng cao giá trị ngôi nhà. Vì vậy trong thiết kế nhà ở, các KTS đầu tư rất kỹ lưỡng cho phần tiểu cảnh này. Nhưng không phải cái gì càng nhiều, càng rộng thì sẽ càng tốt. Nhiều gia chủ cho rằng sân vườn càng rộng thì ngôi nhà càng thoáng mát, vậy nên thường xây lùi vào một khoảng đất khá rộng, đặc biệt là những miếng đất hình chữ nhật chạy sâu vào bên trong thì khoảng không này càng lớn.
Tuy nhiên theo phong thủy thì việc xây nhà quá thụt về phía sau và để chừa sân trước quá dài và rộng là không tốt. Gia chủ sẽ gặp phải nhiều phiền toái về bạn bè và những người xung quanh.
Để khắc phục có thể trồng những cây như mộc lan, lài, tre, trúc… án ngữ sẽ làm cho cuộc sống gia đình tốt hơn, có thêm nhiều cơ hội may mắn.
3. Sân sau lớn
Sân sau của nhà ở thường là rất nhỏ, tuy nhiên, trong trường hợp ở nhà biệt thự có sân sau quá lớn thì nên bố trí thêm gò giả hay hòn non bộ để tạo cảm giác sân sau cao hơn sân trước.
4. Trước nhà có cây to hoặc cây khô
Phong thủy rất kỵ việc có cây khô hoặc cây to ở trước nhà, điều này sẽ khiến chủ nhà buồn khổ, cô độc. Vì vậy, cần chặt hết những cây chết khô và không trồng duy nhất một cây to trước nhà. Nếu có cây to và chưa thể chặt được thì gia chủ nên dùng một đèn sáng trước cửa hoặc để tranh nhiều màu đỏ (thuộc Hoả) treo trước cửa.
5. Nhà ở đối diện với đường vòng hoặc giao lộ
Nếu nhà ở đối diện đường vòng hoặc đối diện với giao lộ thì khí sẽ chiếu thẳng vào nhà. Sát khí sẽ gây thị phi, bất hoà, ly tán gia đình và không tốt cho những thành viên trong gia đình. Nếu có những căn nhà như vậy thì nên dùng làm cơ sở kinh doanh chứ không nên ở.
6. Trong nhà có xà nhà chắn ngang giường ngủ hoặc bàn thờ, bếp
Tại những vị trí đặt xà, khí của nó tương đối mạnh và thường là sát khí. Nếu giường ngủ đặt ngay phía dưới xà nhà hoặc dưới chân cầu thang thì sẽ vô cùng bất lợi. Cần khắc phục nhược điểm này bằng cách kê giường chỗ khác hoặc dùng một trần gỗ hoặc giấy căng ngang, phủ lấy xà nhà để giảm bớt tác động xấu của xà. Điều này cũng được áp dụng tương tự với bếp và bàn thờ.
7. Hai căn nhà có cửa chính xung đối nhau
Phong thuỷ cho rằng, nếu hai ngôi nhà có cửa chính xung đối nhau sẽ làm cho khí nhà này xông thẳng vào cửa nhà kia, chắc chắn sẽ có một nhà bị ảnh hưởng xấu. Để khắc phục điều này, có thể treo chuông gió hoặc treo bốn chữ Thiên Quan Tứ Phúc ở cửa chính.
Ngoài ra, để hoá giải còn có thể dùng đôi con nghê, tượng Quan Công, tượng Phật Bà để trấn ở cửa hoặc dùng những loại cầu thuỷ tinh treo trước cửa.
8. Nhà có cửa chính thông với cửa hậu
Nếu cửa chính của ngôi nhà thông với cửa hậu và cửa giữa (nếu có) thì sẽ tạo thành thế ba cửa thông nhau. Khí vào sẽ bị thất tán hết, chủ tiền tài không vượng, hao tổn tiền của, không giữ được tài lộc.
Trong trường hợp này cần sửa lại cửa hoặc đặt bình phong chắn ở giữa để cửa chính và cửa phụ không nhìn thấy nhau nữa. Ngoài ra, có thể dùng cầu thuỷ tinh treo ở vị trí thông giữa hai cửa, dùng tượng rùa đầu rồng hoặc tượng Tam Đa che chắn ở phía cửa phụ.
9. Giường ngủ đối diện với cửa phòng
Giường ngủ không nên đặt đối diện với cửa phòng vì khí từ cửa vào sẽ xung thẳng đến giường, gây tổn hại cho sức khoẻ người ngủ. Vì thế, nên kê giường nơi khác hoặc treo mành, rèm ở ngay cửa để hóa giải.
